Tinplate Tiger is a singer songwriter based in West Wales and inspired by blues, rock 'n' roll, swing, country and the vintage sounds of the 50s and 60s. TT has played hundreds of live gigs across the UK - performing solo or as a trio.

Cactus Flower   lost my mind in the lizard lounge

Tinplate Tiger's fourth and fifth solo albums were released in January 2018. Confessions of An Alien Chimp features 15 retro tracks mainly inspired by swing and rock 'n' roll. Some of the songs are about life on the autistic spectrum. Face the Sun features 14 original songs - mainly semi-acoustic, lo-fi psychdelic pop and psych folk.

Dreaming of Wild Horses was released in December 2015 on the SongCoast label, featuring 11 original tracks of dreamy psychedelic pop inspired by love, death and the wild West Coast of Wales. Cactus Flower, also released in December 2015, features a collection of 11 original retro-blues and country rock songs.

The first Tinplate Tiger album Lost my mind in the Lizard Lounge was released in Spring 2014 on the Groovy Cats label.

As featured on BBC Radio One

Tinplate Tiger previously played with the Easy Tigerz trio and in 2012 recorded an album of 15 original songs released on Western Star the world's coolest rockabilly label! The album gained a rave review in Vintage Rock magazine, and featured on Mike Davies BBC Radio One Showas well as being played on local radio across Wales and the West Country.

In November 2013, Tinplate Tiger was BBC Radio Wales "introducing" artist of the week, and was interviewed on Bethan Elfyn's Saturday night show about his musical influences and his new album.

Tracks from the album "Lost My Mind in the Lizard Lounge" have also been played on the Adam Walton show on BBC Radio Wales.
